According to Shatta Wale, he finds it surprising that Stonebwoy would allegedly take legal action against a fan over comments made online. He argued that supporters of Stonebwoy have, on several occasions, insulted and attacked him and his fanbase, yet he chose not to pursue any legal measures because he understands the nature of the entertainment industry. The “On God” hitmaker further claimed there could be some truth in the allegations made by the fan against Stonebwoy. He referenced controversial socialite Abena Korkor, alleging that she had previously mentioned the musician while speaking about her encounters with public figures. As of now, Stonebwoy has not publicly responded to the remarks made by Shatta Wale.
