Chelsea said “enough is enough” and absolutely demolished Port Vale in a ruthless FA Cup quarter-final clash at Stamford Bridge, bouncing back from four straight losses like nothing ever happened.
It took just 2 minutes for Jarrol Hato to set the tone — early goal, early warning. From there, it was pure chaos for Port Vale. João Pedro doubled the lead in the 25th minute, slicing through the defence with ease, before things got even worse when Lawrence Gabriel accidentally turned the ball into his own net just before halftime. First half? Done and dusted. Chelsea were already cooking
Second half? Oh, they weren’t done.
Tosin Adarabioyo made it four with a clean header from a Malo Gusto corner in the 52nd minute. Then Brazil-linked vibes kicked in — Andrey Santos bagged a beauty in the 69th minute, assisted by fellow baller William Estevão.
Estevão said “lemme get mine too” and added his name to the scoresheet in the 82nd minute, before Alejandro Garnacho iced the game from the penalty spot in stoppage time.
Full-time: Chelsea 7-0 Port Vale. Absolute smoke.
After a shaky run, Chelsea just flipped the script in style and now cruise into the FA Cup semi-finals alongside Manchester City, who earlier slapped Liverpool 4-0.
The Blues are now locked in and dreaming big — their last FA Cup win came in 2018, and with this kind of energy? Yeah… they might just run it back.
